The Idaho Urologic Laboratory is a full-service laboratory that provides a large scope of clinical and infertility services to physicians and patients. We are committed to providing the highest standards of care in all phases of specimen handling and testing. The laboratory participates in a quality control program and we are accredited by CLIA to ensure this commitment. Our staff is composed of highly qualified registered Medical Technologists that perform all complex testing.
Extent of Services:
The Laboratory provides a wide range of services with some testing sent to accredited reference laboratories. The Laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services provided include:

Immunoassays: services include PSA's, Testosterone, Follicular Stimulating Hormone, Luteinizing Hormone, and Prolactin.

Chemistry: services include routine chemistries such as basic metabolic panels and comprehensive metabolic panels.

Hematology/Coagulation: services include complete blood counts with differential smear examinations if needed, PT/INR testing.

Point of Care Testing: services include urinalysis dipsticks, pregnancy testing, and NMP 22's.

Microbiology: services include the detection and identification of pathogenic microorganisms. Susceptibility testing is also performed.

Andrology: services include complete semen analysis' with morphology, sperm antibody detection, and sperm WBC detection. We also offer cryopreservation and other infertility procedures.
